In spite of planned development and special provision for accelerated socio-economic development of neglected /disadvantaged sections, the issue of orphan, semi orphan and street children are not properly addressed . In Pakistan around 55 Million children are under 15 years of age, out of which about 4.2 million are orphans and half of them are certainly vulnerable. Due to natural catastrophes, numbers of orphans has recently increased considerably. Therefore, society as a whole has to come forward to provide shelter and support to these helpless children. Orphans who have lost their fathers or both the parents and are living with their extended families need financial assistance. Naymet has been providing them with assistance at their door steps under “NAJMI Orphan Care Program”. This project has already successfully launched in Walton Lahore . The Orphan Care Program project will support Orphan students of Pakistan in continuation of their education and to become useful part of the Society.
